   6 Major Changes:
   7 - Note! DVD writing does not work.
   8 - There is a new database format that is not compatible
   9   with previous databases. You must upgrade if converting
  10   from 1.36.x.
  11 - The Director, Storage daemon, and File daemons are
  12   Deamons are not compatible with  prior versions.
  13   All FDs must be upgraded at the same time.
  14 - Multiple drive autochanger support.
  15 - Support for ANSI/IBM labels.
  16 - New communications protocol between DIR and SD to reserve
  17   drives.
  18 - Faster database inserts due to combining the MD5/SHA1 into
  19   the attributes record, eliminating one INSERT/file backed up.
  20 - Python Event support has been added. See below for
  21   configuration and details. Unfortunately, it is not yet complete
  22   and the only really useful function is defining a new
  23   Volume name.
  24 - DVD writing support, using parts, and a lot of new directives in
  25   the Device resource of the Storage configuration file thanks
  26   to Nicolas Boichat. NOT CURRENTLY WORKING!
  27 - Seven new options keywords in a FileSet resource:
  28   ignorecase, fstype, hfsplussupport, wilddir, wildfile, regexdir,
  29   and regexfile thanks to Pruben Guldberg). See below for details.
  30 - Restore of all files for a Job or set of jobs even if the file
  31   records have been removed from the catalog.
  32 - Restore of a directory (non-recursive, i.e. only one level).
  33 - Support for TLS (ssl) between all the daemon connections thanks
  34   to Landon Fuller.
  35 - Any Volume in the Pool named Scratch may be reassigned to any
  36   other Pool when a new Volume is needed.
  37 - Seeking on disk Volumes during restore.
  38 - You may clone a Job and thus write (almost) the same data
  39   to multiple Volumes simultaneously (see below). Actually,
  40   any Job may start any other Job with this mechanism, so it
  41   also be used to group jobs.
  42 - Unicode filename support for Win32 (thanks to Thorsten Engel)
  43 - Volume Shadow Copy support for Win32 thus the capability to
  44   backup exclusively opened files (thanks to Thorsten Engel).
  45   A VSS enabled Win32 FD is available.
  46 - New manual format with an index (thanks to Karl Cunningham).
  47 - New Web site format (thanks to Michael Scherer).
  48 - SQLite3 support, but it seems to run at 1/2 to 1/4 the speed of
  49   SQLite2.
  50 - Web-bacula, previously a separate project by Juan Luis Frances,
  51   is now included in the Bacula GUI release (yet to be fully
  52   created).

  54 New Directives:
  55 - New Job directive "Prefer Mounted Volumes = yes|no" causes the
  56   SD to select either an Autochanger or a drive with a valid
  57   Volume already mounted in preference. If none is available,
  58   it will select the first available drive.
  59 - New Run directive in Job resource of DIR. It permits
  60   cloning of jobs.  To clone a copy of the current job, use
  61      Run = "job-name level=%l since=\"%s\""
  62   Note, job-name is normally the same name as the job that
  63   is running but there is no restriction on what you put. If you
  64   want to start the job by hand and use job overrides such as
  65   storage=xxx, realize that the job will be started with the
  66   default storage values not the overrides.  The level=%l guarantees
  67   that the chosen level of the job is the same, and the since=...
  68   ensures that the job uses *exactly* the same time/date for incremental
  69   and differential jobs. The since=... is ignored when level=Full.
  70   A cloned job will not start additional clones, so it is not possible
  71   to recurse.
  72 - New Options keywords in a FileSet directive:
  73   - WildDir xxx
  74     Will do a wild card match against directories (files will not
  75     be matched).
  76   - WildFile xxx
  77     Will do a wild card match against files (directories will not
  78     be matched).
  79   - RegexDir xxx
  80     Will do a regular expression match against directories (files
  81     will not be matched).
  82   - RegexFile xxx
  83     Will do a regular expression match against files( directories
  84     will not be matched).
  85   - IgnoreCase = yes | no
  86     Will ignore case in wild card and regular expression matches.
  87     This is handy for Windows where filename case is not significant.
  88   - FsType = string
  89     where string is a filesystem type: ext2, jfs, ntfs, proc,
  90     reiserfs, xfs, usbdevfs, sysfs, smbfs, iso9660.  For ext3
  91     systems, use ext2.  You may have multiple fstype directives
  92     and thus permit multiple filesystem types.  If the type
  93     specified on the fstype directive does not match the
  94     filesystem for a particular directive, that directory will
  95     not be backed up.  This directive can be used to prevent
  96     backing up non-local filesystems.
  97   - HFS Plus Support = yes | no
  98     If set, Mac OS X resource forks will be saved and restored.
  99 - Label Type = ANSI | IBM | Bacula
 100   Implemented in Director Pool resource and in SD Device resource.
 101   If it is specified in the SD Device resource, it will take
 102   precedence over the value passed from the Director to the SD.
 103 - Check Labels = yes | no
 104   Implemented in the SD Device resource. If you intend to read
 105   ANSI or IBM labels, this *must* be set. Even if the volume
 106   is not ANSI labeled, you can set this to yes, and Bacula will
 107   check the label type.
 108 - Scripts Directory = <directory> name.  Defines the directory from
 109   which Bacula scripts will be called for events. In fact, Bacula
 110   appends this name to the standard Python list of search directories,
 111   so the script could also be in any of the Python system directories.
 112 - In FileSet, you can exclude backing up of hardlinks (if you have
 113   a lot, it can be very expensive), by using:
 114     HardLinks = no
 115   in the Options section. Patch supplied by David R Bosso. Thanks.
 116 - MaximumPartSize = bytes (SD, Device resource)
 117   Defines the maximum part size.
 118 - Requires Mount = Yes/No (SD, Device resource)
 119   Defines if the device require to be mounted to be read, and if it
 120   must be written in a special way. If it set, the following directives
 121   must be defined in the same Device resource:
 122   + Mount Point = directory
 123     Directory where the device must be mounted.
 124   + Mount Command = name-string
 125     Command that must be executed to mount the device. Before the command
 126     is executed, %a is replaced with the Archive Device, and %m with the
 127     Mount Point.
 128   + Unmount Command = name-string
 129     Command that must be executed to unmount the device. Before the
 130     command is executed, %a is replaced with the Archive Device, and
 131     %m with the Mount Point.
 132   + Write Part Command = name-string
 133     Command that must be executed to write a part to the device. Before
 134     the command is executed, %a is replaced with the Archive Device, %m
 135     with the Mount Point, %n with the current part number (0-based),
 136     and %v with the current part filename.
 137   + Free Space Command = name-string
 138     Command that must be executed to check how much free space is left
 139     on the device. Before the command is executed, %a is replaced with
 140     the Archive Device, %m with the Mount Point, %n with the current part
 141     number (0-based), and %v with the current part filename.
 142 - Write Part After Job = Yes/No (DIR, Job Resource, and Schedule Resource)
 143   If this directive is set to yes (default no), a new part file will be
 144   created after the job is finished.
 145 - A pile of new Directives to support TLS. Please see the TLS chapter
 146   of the manual.

 148 New Commands:
 149 - "python restart" restarts the Python interpreter. Rather brutal, make
 150    sure no Python scripts are running. This permits you to change
 151    a Python script and get Bacula to use the new script.

 154 - DVD writing is not yet working.
 155 - You must add --with-python=[DIR] to the configure command line
 156   if you want Python support.  Python 2.2 and 2.3 should be automatically
 157   detected if in the standard place.
 158 - With Python 2.2 version, the link of the Director gets a few linker
 159   warnings due to the fact that Python pulls in some old non-secure
 160   libraries.
 161 - With Python 2.3, there are a few compiler warnings.
 162 - You must either create a new catalog database or upgrade your
 163   old database (the PostgreSQL upgrade scripts not yet tested).
 164 - You must add --with-openssl to the configure command line if
 165   you want TLS communications encryption support.

 168 - 2 new scripts, dvd-writepart and dvd-freespace, in the scripts directory,
 169   which are designed to be used as parameters to Write Part Command and
 170   Free Space Command. They need the dvd+rw-tools to be installed
 171   (http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/linux/DVD+RW/).
 172   You must have Python installed to run the dvd-freespace script.
 173 - Part files support: File volumes can now be splitted in multiple
