   8 The file ETCDIR/ldapfriendly contains simple mapping information
   9 used by the
  10 .BR ldap_friendly_name (3)
  11 routine.  Blank lines and
  12 lines that have a first character of `#' are treated as comments and
  13 ignored.  The configuration information consists of lines that contain
  14 an "unfriendly" name, a tab, and a "friendly" name.

  16 Other friendly mapping files can be created and used by
  17 .BR ldap_friendly_name (3).
  18 Just use the same format as that described
  19 above and include the file name in the
  20 .B ldap_friendly_name()
  21 call.
